By Jill Benone:
The Dancers and Singers wanted to do a line dance and pushed for a show with a western theme–after all, as they said, they already had their own hats. Two kids were talking about "old-time movie actors" -- Paul Newman and Robert Redford. From there, it was a quick move to Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid and the Sundown Dude Ranch.

The PTA ladies, kids, and Mike Lichtman meet Sundown’s owner, Leroy Parker, his foreman Harry, Harry’s wife Miss Edie, the housekeeper, Handy Mandy, and the cooks (literally by popular demand) Hashem, Stirem, and Friem. We have a really nasty real estate developer (an ongoing concern in Glendale), her secretary, and her yes-man and yes-woman. The Ghost Riders come to the rescue, of course, and the Sundown Dude Ranch is saved from development.

Ad sales and donor contributions were such that eight program pages were devoted to cast and crew head shots with accompanying bios.
