By Jill Benone:
The show opens in the Town Square of Imagidonia, where the VW PTA ladies are tourists. They find a princess wrongfully imprisoned, a cruel and ursurping king, an annoying old nurse, the jailor, the Town Chancellor, Town Crier, and Town Crone, and covert operations agents (members of MESS, which makes them MESSES
Back at VW, deciphering the symbols on the wall ramp leading to the bridge causes Mike Lichtman and his students to form a rescue party and travel to Imagidonia. The princess is rescued (her hero is Prince Dashingwood Flashingwood of Rashingwood, called "Dash") and her jail cell is literally brought down by the performance of rock’n’roll star Velvet Victorious, an assistant to a super-agent of MESS.
We had a medley of fraternity songs because the Singers and Steve Hill were fooling around one rehearsal and insisted. The audience is encouraged to tell the Dancers how good they are [because] "a variety of circumstances decimated their ranks, but the heart of the corps pulled through". "Super Student Artist Samantha Hartwell" is credited. I don’t remember why.
Distribution of excess donations to PTA: $5,500.00
