By Jill Benone:
The same script as 1964 with a few minor changes and references to the News-Press and Ledger. The Whale, Octopus, and the mermaids are part of the script. The PTA ladies are Mrs. Plink, Mrs. Plank, Mrs. Wiffenwoo, and Mrs. Feefack. The Woodlands PTA song ("Ta-Ra-Ra-Boom-De-Ay") is sung in the last scene. There is no mention of the Can-Can, and the show ends with the entire cast chasing after Von Strogonoff, as in the original.

Bob Adolphe’s orchestra seems to be composed totally of professional musicians by this time. There was a stipend paid to the musicians, but the exact financial arrangements are not listed.

This is a show to be remembered. Apparently, this was the first program to sell ads.—uh, sorry, "solicit donations". National PTA regulations prohibit the selling of advertising copy, so all solicitation and thank you letters refer to "generous donations". Four pages held twenty-four "donations", eight business cards to a page. No chairman was credited, but it was beginning to be obvious that the show was inherently a perfect tool to increase revenue for the school

The script is referred to as "Pirates" in the notes and by the performers, and Captain Crook’s men still don’t know if their victims should walk the plank or the wiffenwoo.
