By Jill Benone:
From the program, this seems to be fairly faithful to the 1965 version, with Principal Smith playing himself.
The scene titles seem to be a little more descriptive – "Fatal Decisions are Made", "Mars is Watching", "The Army Attacks", "The Space Craft is Finished", "The Moon as it Really Is", and so forth. I would like to have "The PTA Meeting Needs Anti-Freeze" and "Verdugo Woodlands Goes Into Orbit" explained, though. The list of characters is almost exactly the same as 1965, including the "Chief Mouseketeer", who, I suspect is in charge on the moon, which is probably made of green cheese.
The Director isn’t listed as a character in this version. As a matter of fact, there is no director listed at all, but I happen to know it was John Campbell.
