The story remains the same with a few updates. The PTA song, "Ta-Ra-Ra-Boom-De-Ay" is sung and the Can-Can danced in the first scene. Principal Steve Smith, depositing the Fall Festival proceeds of two million dollars and eighty-six cents in his office safe, is attacked by a thief and left unconscious while his secretary, who saw the robbery, is tied up and remains so until the final scene. The police detective, "Hemlock Bones" suspects Smith is the thief. Follies old reliable Dr. Hackenchop, who turns out to be an escaped lunatic, operates on Smith. The PTA ladies are questioned at the police station, where a clever patter to "Just An Honest Mistake" is performed by a line of suspicious characters. Bones, the defective detective, fails to recognize a pickpocket who picks his pockets. He has a cross-talk scene with a beatnick poet, and some hippies at the Kool-Aid A-Go-Go. Two students, suspecting the stolen money is hidden in a graveyard, run from ghosts and skeletons in a black light dance. The biggest story twist reveals the thief – no longer is the pickpocket the villain, but Snoopy himself stole the Fall Festival money. All, of course, is well that ends well. The program/poster art indicates a "Snoopy" face on the helicopter pilot, who addressed as "Snoopy"; I presume he wore a "Snoopy" mask.
